Discover Your Community – Access Street

Join us at Crispin Hall for an exciting event where you can Discover Your Community. This instalment of our community event is focused on engaging with people and sharing in residents’ and visitors’ experiences, particularly when navigating around the village for those with additional mobility needs and/or disabilities.

This is a starting point to gather vital information to ensure the village can be as accessible and inclusive as possible. While we appreciate there is some way to go, it is important to have an open dialogue and start identifying priorities to work towards, to ensure all members of the community have a voice and can contribute to a conversation on improving standards for the future. This will be useful information for the council and our crucial local services to listen to to inform future decision-making.

There will be opportunities for signposting to various organisations already making a huge difference to promoting independence and confidence for all. We all want Street to keep thriving and there are many organisations out there to help.
