As a volunteer recruitment service, CSW You Can Do is working with a national organisation called Nesta to understand how people choose to become volunteers. Because many of the groups of people we work with talk about transport as an issue for them living in a rural county we have agreed to explore this issue in a series of one off events in June. At the event’s across Somerset, we will map out existing provision; understand what issues people perceive there to be and what would help them. We will compile this information and make it available to our partners to assist them in their transport planning work.
If you are 50 years plus and not currently volunteering and you would like to attend we are holding 9 events across Somerset.
Light refreshments and lunch will be provided at each event
