Please note Mendip’s Severe Weather Emergency Provision will be active from tonight (6th January). It is set to close on the morning of Monday 11th January.
Severe Weather Emergency Provision in Mendip has two aims:
- To ensure that no one dies on the streets due to severe weather
- To ensure that every effort is made to engage individuals with support
“Safe and warm accommodation is available through Mendip District Council. To access this service, call 0300 123 22 24 during office hours or 0300 123 23 27 out of office hours as early as possible. Spaces are limited, so phone early.”
