I was born in 1949 (glad to see the back of rationing) in Stratford-upon-Avon. I attended King Edward VI Grammar School – Shakespeare’s old school – & studied history & politics – including a PhD on Louis XIV of France – at the London School of Economics.
I lived & worked overseas for 35 years, in Germany, France, USA, Australia, Bahrain, Russia, UAE & India, running multi-million dollar businesses for a UK software house, inventor of the world’s first computerised banking system.
My interests include travel, reading, business, history, politics, psychology, exercise & sports (I am responsible for organising walking football in Street).
