I have lived in Street since 1971, when I moved here from Plymouth.
Until I retired in 2014, I was the school attendance officer at Crispin. School. Before that, I worked in the Post Office based at W.H. Smith.
My husband of 40 years died from Motor Neurone Disease in 2018!
After his death, I decided to look into being a Street Parish Councillor as I am passionate in trying to get Street High Street back to its former glory of when I first came here to live.
Street is a wonderful place to live and has much to offer!
I am myself disabled and have a keen interest in improving things in Street for those who have limited movement in their legs.
