Update on the Neighbourhood Plan for Street from the new Neighbourhood Plan Officer.

Hello people of Street!

You may have noticed some activity recently regarding the Neighbourhood Plan for Street.

For the uninitiated, Street Parish Council have committed to producing a Neighbourhood Plan for Street. A Neighbourhood Plan gives communities direct power to develop a shared vision for their neighbourhood, and shape the development and growth of their local area.

The content of the plan and its policies are based on the opinions of the people in the community. At the end of last year, Street Parish Council held initial Public Consultations and issued an online survey to capture your views and opinions.

Well, that was just the start of it! Regular public consultation events are coming back to Street. Keep your eyes peeled on the front page of the website for information on the latest public consultation events.

If you cannot attend the consultation tomorrow, don’t fret, as there will be plenty of opportunities to give us your opinions. Alternatively, if you just can’t wait to get in touch, please contact me using any of the methods below.

I look forward to working with you all in developing the Neighbourhood Plan for Street.
