Launch of Street’s Repair Café! @ Street Quaker Meeting House

***The Fixy Van The Fixy project will be present on the day to accept donations of tech and devices to be repurposed and recycled. Dig out those old phones and chargers etc. and you’ll benefit from some decluttering to (re)boot!***

Thank you to Street Quaker Meeting and for all of those who have worked so hard to gain public opinion and contributed to getting this up and running. It is a real achievement and will undoubtedly help our residents save money, reduce waste and learn new skills; not to mention offering a warm space once a month!

There will be opportunities to ask for advice, gain support with actual repairs and generally enjoy a few hours social time with our community. We also hear there will be cake​!!! 

Some repairs will require buying materials to cover costs and donations will of course be very welcome! Though there is no guarantee a repair can be achieved, it’s worth enquiring and participating in what will be a terrific community gathering.
