EMERGENCY PLAN FOR STREET

The first Emergency Plan for Street was published and circulated in July, 2009 to the Parish, District and County Councils, the Police and Fire Service, local supermarkets, Clarks Village and to the 4 designated Rest Centres –  the Unity Club, the Football Club, the British Legion and the Victoria Club.

In the event of a parish emergency councillors and the clerk will go to the Council Offices at Street Parish Rooms, 6 Leigh Road, Street which will be the council assembly point, use the security radio to contact the Police and other organisations and make the emergency supplies available if needed. Contact will also be made with the 4 Rest Centres to assess the situation.

The full version of the Plan contains confidential information for use only in the event of an emergency but the basic details are set out below and will be publicised via the website www.street-pc.gov.uk, the local newspaper, posters and leaflets every 3 monts so that local people are aware of this information.
