Hello
I have been a councillor since May 2019 and am proud to be able to represent the people of Street and do what I can to ensure it remains a great place to live. I am a comparative newcomer, having moved here from Farnham, Surrey, in 2015, but I certainly think of it as my home now. I live on the Icon Houndwood estate with my dog Fred and my wonderful neighbours and friends. It’s a real community.
I run a business now but have in the past volunteered with Citizens Advice where I learned so much about the challenges people face everyday and how best to help them. I rely on this learning a lot now as your representative in Street and also in my role as District Councillor. At Mendip I am involved in community health and community safety. In all of this, I want to see a more equal society where everyone is valued.
